He managed the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Programme between 2012-2015, where he led the successful delivery of a range of innovative capabilities working with over 30 public and private sector partners, and nearly £1bn of investment..
His benefits management approach was commended by the National Audit Office as ‘a single version of the truth’. Prior to that, Alex worked at Director level in a range of cross-Government initiatives, helping partners break out of departmental constraints to deliver outcomes in the fields of alcohol harm reduction, violent crime, criminal justice reform, and the application of biometrics to immigration and border controls.
Henry is an intelligence and analytical tradecraft expert. As one of the UK’s leading experts on Measurement of Effect, analysis and assessment he delivers consultancy, training and mentoring worldwide. He has served with the British Government’s analysis training team for eight years and also held numerous analyst roles across the UK assessment community. He has rich and current experience of working in national security and counter terrorism environments in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Henry draws on his practical experience and critical thinking expertise to help organisations untangle complex programmatic situations and identify sensible and benefit-realising ways forward.
